We (Andy and Ajit) will be discussing Bandize and going over some of the features and strategies that have helped artists at all levels experience a type of success through organization they didn’t think possible.

Another feature update for you, folks!

Now you have the option to set reminders for any task you create. The reminder will be sent out as an email to the people responsible for the task. For example, if you assign yourself a task, you will receive a reminder email at the time you select. If you want to be reminded of the task 15 minutes before it’s due then simply select “15 Minutes.”

*To ensure that you receive the emails at the correct time, please make sure that your time zone is correctly set, which can be found in the Account section once logged in.

As some of you may already know, November has been commandeered by a group of unruly, yet highly organized, bunch of hooligans! The month of November as you know it will never be the same. It’s not even called November anymore!

Mustache + November = Movember

In an effort to make cancer feel foolish we will be growing mustaches through the entire month of Movember!

How can you help? That’s easy! Pick a Bandize team member below and make a donation. Whichever team member you pick will get credit for the donation (and bragging rights around the office since that means you like him more than the others, which is totally understandable).

The Prostate Cancer Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund research to find better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation will use the money raised by Movember to fund:

The LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance program which has the goal of improving survival rates and quality of life for young adults with cancer between the ages of 15 and 40.

Research initiatives to further understand the biology of adolescent and young adult cancers.

After several weeks of development, we’re finally releasing Facebook show syncing to all users! You read that correctly. We’re not talking about publishing your status here, we’re talking about clicking one button and having all of the shows on your Bandize account automatically pushed to your band’s Facebook page as events!

In addition to adding Facebook to our growing list of social networks (Myspace, Purevolume), we also completely revamped the way our social section functions which should provide a much more pleasurable user experience all-around.

If you don’t currently have a Facebook page for your band, simply follow our step-by-step blog post on how to create one here.

Once you have a Facebook page and are ready to set up Facebook on your Bandize account, take a look at our walkthrough here.

We have some pretty big plans for our social networking section, so stay tuned!

We really want to make sure Bandize gets selected for a SXSW panel in March 2010. We submitted a topic titled “Against Conventional Wisdom” and the panel voting has finally started.

As you may already know, we have moved Bandize out of beta and made it public! After over a year and a half of work, we are finally getting to share Bandize with the world. It has required many sleepless nights, some sweat, a lot of Red Bull, and even some blood (literally).

We launched a brand new, super fancy home page today! Please go check it out and spread the word any way that you can. We would really appreciate it. | Bandize is now internationally-friendly. Users can set time zones and currency preferences on their account. |

Bandize is constantly evolving and we depend on our user’s feedback to make sure we’re heading in the right direction. The site may be out of beta, but we’re always going to be adding, changing, and improving. We want our users to get as much out of Bandize as possible.
